Privacy Policy

Short version: imgsize.cc runs entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device. We don't have accounts, we don't have servers holding your photos, and we don't sell your data — because we don't have any.

1. What we don't do

• We never upload your images to any server. All resizing, cropping, and exporting happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. You can verify this in your browser's network tab — only static files load, no upload requests.
• We don't require an account, email, or any personal information to use the tool.
• We don't track which images you processed, the dimensions, or the source filename.
• We don't share, sell, rent, or trade any user data. We don't have any.

2. What we do collect

Two things, both standard and minimal:

• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL, status code) for a short retention window to operate and secure the service. These logs are not linked to your image processing activity.
• Aggregated analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics (see "Cookies" below) to count page views and identify which platform presets are popular. No personal identifiers, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.

3. Third-party services

To run imgsize.cc we rely on a small number of third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Static hosting and CDN. Our HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SVG assets are served via a managed static-hosting provider. They process requests on the edge and may log IP addresses and request metadata.
• IP geolocation (ipwho.is / ipapi.co). With your consent, we call a third-party IP-lookup service to detect your approximate country and offer the matching language version. Only your IP address is sent to that service (no image data, no cookie data); if you decline, no such call is made.
• JSZip library. The batch-export feature loads the JSZip JavaScript library from cdn.jsdelivr.net. The CDN may log the request; we don't control those logs.
• Fonts. We may load web fonts from a font provider. The font provider may receive your IP address as part of the request.

None of these services receive your images. The image bytes stay in your browser tab.

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of first-party cookies for session state and aggregated analytics. See the full Cookie Policy for details, including how to opt out.

5. Children's privacy

imgsize.cc is not directed to children under 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. Because we don't collect personal information from anyone, this policy holds for all ages.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights regarding personal data we may hold about you:

• Right to know what we collect (see Section 2 above — that's the full list).
• Right to access, correct, or delete any personal data.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — N/A; we don't sell data.
• Right to data portability — N/A; we don't hold user-specific data.

7. Data retention

We retain server logs for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes, then delete them. Aggregated analytics data is retained indefinitely (it contains no personal identifiers).

8. Security

All web traffic to imgsize.cc is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS 1.3). Because images are processed locally and never reach our servers, the risk surface for image-data exposure is minimal by design. We regularly review our hosting and CDN configuration for security updates.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or to applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
