Terms of Service

Plain English summary: imgsize.cc is a free tool. Use it for anything legal. Don't abuse the service. Your images stay in your browser. We try to keep the service working but we don't promise it's perfect. If something breaks, please tell us — but you can't sue us over it.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using imgsize.cc (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The service

imgsize.cc provides browser-based image resizing, cropping, and format conversion for 70+ platform presets (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others).

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid tiers or features in the future; if we do, we'll give advance notice on the homepage and via the in-product UI for any paywalled feature. Paid features will be clearly marked.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload to the tool. You retain all rights, title, and interest in the images you process through imgsize.cc.

We do not upload, view, copy, store, or transmit your images. Processing happens entirely inside your browser tab using the browser's Canvas API. The exported file is downloaded directly from your browser to your device — we never see it.

Because we have no access to your content, we have no ability to delete, moderate, or restore it. That responsibility (and benefit) lives with you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process images that contain illegal content (CSAM, terrorist material, content that infringes a third party's copyright or trademark, etc.).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service (except as permitted by applicable law).
• Use automated scripts to scrape, mirror, or test the Service at scale without our prior written consent.
• Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or any other technical restrictions we put in place.
• Misrepresent the output as being produced by a different tool or by a human, in a way that violates applicable advertising or labeling laws.

5. Platform presets and brand references

imgsize.cc provides presets sized to match the published specifications of third-party platforms (Amazon, Etsy, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). These platforms are trademarks of their respective owners. Our use of these names is nominative — we are describing the dimensions each platform accepts — and does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of these platforms. If a platform changes its specifications, we'll update the preset. If you spot a stale preset, please email hello@imgsize.cc.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the website design, code, copy, logos, and brand identifiers for imgsize.cc — is owned by imgsize.cc and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

You may use the Service for personal or commercial work (resizing images to upload to your store, your social media, your client projects, etc.). You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the Service itself.

7. Service availability and modifications

We aim to keep imgsize.cc available at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice. Where reasonable, we'll announce changes in advance on the homepage.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, imgsize.cc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold imgsize.cc harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where imgsize.cc is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
